PERSONAL LETTERS GO TO
Dashed lines are for you to fill in, in the department's own words.
Put the person's full legal name and DOC # on the first line, then the facility name, then the processing center address. Attorney-client mail and packages go directly to the facility; after July 31, 2026, personal mail sent to the wrong place is returned to sender.
Legal mail from lawyers and courts has its own address or rules: see the department's mail page.

- The person inside must accept your contact request (or you accept theirs) before you can message.
- Deposit funds into your Friends & Family account, then send messages from the Message tab.
Indiana: You can create the account early, but you can only add the person as a contact once they receive their new tablet.
